Encouraging more males into healthcare professions

1st June 2020

HealthPro is a project set up to inspire males who are looking for a rewarding and well-paid career and to develop their personal and professional skills.

The initiative has been funded by the Office for Students, in partnership with Coventry University and NHS Trusts to help bridge the gender gap and remove stereotypes around roles in healthcare.

There are many varied roles within the healthcare sector and many transferrable skills are highly valuable.

Nick Weston and Andrew Proctor are both paramedics and come from a military background.

Watch these videos to see why they chose a career as paramedics.
